Read more: The traditional costumes from Galicnik are the most decorated costumes. For example some folk costume weighs about (in pounds: 66 – 88) 30kg – 40kg! Several kilograms of weight are jewelry made by filigrees.
          Brides in the Mijak region used to wear head clips consisting of several small chains, connected to each other with leaf-like or oval metal medallions and with decorative hooks on each side. Young women and brides used to wear special kind of jewelry over their temples, so called sačboj or plesnica. It is a round shaped or square piece of jewelry, made of silver, gilded and richly decorated with pendants. This kind of jewelry was typical for the western part of Macedonia and was part of the Galicnik bridal folk costume.
           Bridal and girl’s are regularly embellished with colorful breads, most often sewn onto the border. Bridal scarves have a threaded necklace of coins in the middle. The coins are bigger in the middle of the necklace. The middle coin is always made of gold.
          Galicnik become very famous cause of Galichnik wedding when a lot of couples are having wedding in very old Macedonian tradition way. Galichnik wedding is held – unique of this kind and in its existence contributed to cherish tradition of the wedding customs and rituals of the inhabitants from the region in order to preserve the original folk songs, horas and too far away famous Galichnik peasant costume – made with filigree tailors accuracy.
