Examples of many types of jewelry that continue the tradition of jewelry making from the previous period. Among them are fibulae, needles, earrings, bracelets made of bronze, silver and gold. The extraordinary application of the complex techniques of filigree and granulation is a material and artistic proof of the old masters’ skills. The beauty, the perfection and the precision of the archaic and antique jewelry in Macedonia has become a synonym for excellent jewelry in the beginning of the Antiquity. The presence of the diverse but selective symbolism (snake protoms, poppy, bird protoms, rosette, floral elements, solar symbols) is a subtle expression of the belief and the rich religious and spiritual life of the very beginning of the Antiquity.
